The Goldring brand has long been synonymous with all that is great about British hi-fi and is a name closely associated with quality, innovation and reliability throughout the long history of the gramophone record. Technical leaders with unrivalled skill and expertise, we also are the manufacturer of cartridges for leading turntable brands, and have an exclusive cartridge repair service available.
The Goldring story began in 1906 with the supply of steel needles, springs and clockwork motors to the gramophone industry. Products were marked with a golden ring to indicate high quality of design and manufacture.
In 1926 Goldring introduced the Jewel Electro, arguably the most advanced gramophone soundbox of its day. During the decades following the war, as home hi-fi became a reality, Goldring was always at the forefront of innovation. The brand quickly became the industry standard for electro-magnetic pickups, with its 500 series cartridge becoming widely used throughout the broadcasting industry. Today, with more than 100 years of rich heritage behind them, Goldring continues to defy industry norms by producing high performance, premium quality, British-designed products for the specialist cartridge and turntable market.

Milty Products was originally small but innovative family run business, in the 1970’s the company broadened its product range and expanded into the Audio accessory market. Utilizing its creative skills the company designed developed and produced a unique range of Hi-Fi accessories which soon became well respected and renowned world wide, none less so than in Japan where the company was awarded the prestigious Japanese Grand Prix award.
